If you're anything like my clients, you're excited about Thanksgiving.
You're eager to enjoy the foods you don't normally have.
But you're also a little nervous about overeating.
Here's the advice I gave them.
➡️ You are always in control.
It might not feel that way when you're surrounded by pies, mac & cheese, and delicious homemade biscuits. (Did your mouth just start watering?!)
But a part of living a healthy & balanced life is to always feel in control and empowered by your food choices.
One of the biggest ways we lose sight of that is going into an event, dinner, or party believing, "I know I'm going to overeat."
If you're sneakily thinking that, even on a small scale, it's good to take notice.
It's good to reframe and go into the day believing:
➡️ I'm always in control of my food choices, regardless of the day.
Because you are. Always rooting for you!
