Holidays are such a wonderful time.
Pumpkin pies, holiday drinks & bowls of peppermint patties!
But the holidays can also be such a tempting time for your eating & health habits.
Too often we approach the holidays with an "all or nothing" mindset.
Either I stick to my plan or I say "screw it" and put a pause on my health for the next 2-3 months.
As we get deep into the holiday season - just know, you have more control than you think.
You don't have to go into this time of year and come out heavier & sluggish.
You don't have to overeat & feel guilty about your eating habits.
You don't have to stop your workouts & go into hibernation.
You have more control over what happens in the next 2-3 months.
My lifestyle doesn't change too much over the holidays. And neither do my members’.
Sure we enjoy some extra treats but we focus on practicing moderation & balance.
We have the skills to find a way to maintain or continue progressing with our fitness goals AND enjoy the holiday season.
It’s not an all-or-nothing approach.
But a both/and.
